At the SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas few weeks ago, Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, announced the public beta of SharePoint in November. He kept his promise. Today, Microsoft announced the public beta of SharePoint 2010 (SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server) available now on MSDN Subscription.
Also, today few more betas are available for downloading from MSDN: Office 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visio 2010.
“It is one of my favorite Microsoft products” Ballmer said. He also believes IT industry will propel economic growth as we move out of the recession and SharePoint “is in the center of innovation.”
