Essex County Council

The county of Essex is a complex and diverse part of the country. A great deal of information is gathered by Essex County Council, often working with partner organisations, that is used to inform decision making and future policy. The information is gathered in documents which provide an impartial view of the county from a number of perspectives.

Working with a number of partners, Essex County Council is responsible for the production of the Essex Local Economic Assessment (Essex LEA). The Essex LEA brings together a range of information to provide an accurate, impartial picture of the county, its residents, and the factors that will influence future growth and development of the economy.
